The Kemtile team has once again delivered high-quality work at rapid speed - completing the full civil installation of a food factory scale pit in just three days.
A processing plant in Greater Manchester approached Kemtile after discovering their current installer did not have the capability to complete these complicated works in such a short space of time.
The client asked Kemtile to fit a new scale pit from scratch - a process which involved removing existing concrete, installing a new stainless hygienic gully pot and connecting pipework, as well as a deep piled raft system (plus expansion joints) all within 72 hours to reduce production downtime.
Stonclad UF was used to provide an all-important hygienic, hard-wearing finish and the work was completed quickly - much to the delight of the client.
Thanks to the fast turnaround by the Kemtile team - led by George Morton - the food factory could recommence operations when planned.
Project lead George Morton said: “We knew this would be a considerable challenge - getting a scale pit finished in just three days - but with the vast skill set of the team here at Kemtile, I knew we could do it.
“We decided to take the project and we hit the ground running immediately.
“The result was a high-quality job completed in a rapid timeframe and the client was thrilled we’d managed to do it.”
