Kemtile has announced that it will be exhibiting at the Dairy Industries (DI) Expo 2023 (4-5th October 2023) in collaboration with one of Europe’s leading producers of stainless steel drainage systems, Blucher

DI Expo is organised by the leading industry journal Dairy Industries International and targets the dairy processing and manufacturing industry, providing a powerful platform for meeting new customers and strengthening relationships with current clients.

Exhibiting on stand M322 Kemtile will showcase its latest flooring, drainage and linings solutions and draw attention to a chemical-resistant product solution specifically aimed at those manufacturers with Clean-In-Place (CIP) environments.

Utilising both urethane and vinyl ester technology, Stonchem CIP provides resistance to a range of aggressive chemicals including strong detergents, sanitising agents, caustic, acid cleaners and descaling agents.

CIP areas are designated areas used for the automated cleaning and sanitisation of process equipment, such as process critical tanks, pipelines, and other machinery, without disassembly. Typically, these areas can suffer from chemical attacks especially during “dosing cycles”. Stonchem CIP is designed to resist the specific chemicals used in CIP areas and also provide a durable flooring solution.

The Stonchem system can also be applied to drainage “troughs” where typically stainless steel is used. This can eliminate those vulnerable expansion joints between the drainage and the floor providing a “seamless” hygienic and chemically-resistant system.

The Stonchem range is a unique and extensive line of coatings and linings products for harsh environments: primary and secondary containment, processing areas, bunds, pits and trenches. These high-performance linings come in a full range of configurations to meet the unique requirements of different facilities.

Kemtile’s David Priest commented: “With over four decades of experience within the dairy industry, Kemtile is ideally placed to advise dairy owners about how to tackle one of the most challenging areas in any processing facility and answer any other questions around installing and maintaining a safe, hygienic and chemically-resistant floor.”

Kemtile is partnering with Blucher at the show for the first time. Blucher provides high-performing drainage solutions and works with Kemtile on a range of dairy projects.

PolySto’s HACCP-manufactured kerbs, a range of ceramic floor tiling, and Protectorseal/Stonglaze wall coatings will also be in the spotlight as part of Kemtile’s bespoke, problem-solving approach.
