Kemtile has completed a huge flooring project at the home of one of the most popular snack foods in the United Kingdom.

The factory – based in South Wales – has undergone a number of development projects over the years and the latest involved refitting the flooring to ensure high levels of safety in an extremely busy food production environment.

The surfaces had been exposed to hot residue from ovens for many years and the client appointed Kemtile to complete the renovation work – having already partnered with them  on multiple projects.

The Kemtile team worked quickly to remove the old flooring – which was suffering from long-term wear and tear – and laid 1000m3 of Stonclad UT material in Teal Blue to meet strict health and safety guidelines and fit the wider aesthetics within the factory.

The whole floor was completed in the space of a month.

The client stated: “The work carried out was very impressive, showcasing unmatched expertise and professionalism in flooring installation.

“Their unwavering attention to detail and dedication to delivering excellent customer service was truly refreshing.”

Area Sales Manager for Kemtile Karle Rhodes added: “The fact that one of the UK’s biggest food manufacturers continues to turn to our team for support on these types of projects demonstrates our excellent track record of delivering durable flooring solutions in the food and drink flooring sector.

“The site required some significant renovation and the client asked us to make the changes – not just because they knew they would get a high-performance solution, but the fact they would get a quality result in a fast timescale with minimum downtime for the business.”
